The Shift Leader role involves leading shifts by managing and developing team members to ensure excellent product quality and customer service, while building sales and controlling costs.

What You Bring to the Table...

• You are comfortable with higher noise levels from music, customers, and staff

• You can manage potential allergens: peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, shellfish
• Kitchen heat and knife skills are a plus!
• You are at least 18 years old
• Preferred: at least 1 year supervisory experience in food service or retail
• You can stand/walk for 8-9 hours
• You can lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assign tasks, and provide feedback
• Ensure security procedures are followed
• Maintain back-of-house standards
• Count cash drawers and handle cash procedures
• Prepare quality food and beverages efficiently
• Follow health and safety standards
• Restock supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
• Operate cash register and handle customer issues
• Additional duties as assigned

Note: All Shift Leaders and Managers must complete Food Safety Certification within 30 days of employment, through the appropriate state or national program. Failure to pass certification after two attempts disqualifies continued employment in a management role.
