We are Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH.

Based at Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER, we were founded in 2018 and are a 100% subsidiary of Ryanair.

The Irish airline group currently operates a fleet of 590 modern Boeing 737NG and MAX 10, Boeing 737-8200 Game Changer, and Airbus A320 aircraft. We will continue to expand by more than 300 aircraft by 2030.

At Ryanair Engineering Germany, our engineers and mechanics are responsible for the maintenance of all Ryanair aircraft in multiple stations all across Germany.

We are currently looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to join us.

Role:

1. Aircraft body structure and parts repair on Ryanair fleet aircraft, in accordance with approved maintenance data and procedures.
2. Performing metal assembling operations such as cutting, filling, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting, and bucking work.
3. Working with relevant equipment - bending machines, English Wheel, Flap Peening, Drill, or Grinder as usual working tools.
4. To find the most suitable repair solutions and implementation according to the Maintenance Repair Manuals.
5. Any other duties as requested by your Shift Leader / Hangar Manager.

Requirements

1. Must hold demonstrable experience of Sheet Metal Work and Structural Repair.
2. Previous maintenance experience on B737 is highly desirable.
3. Knowledge of technical drawing.
4. Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
5. Must be flexible, including availability to work overtime as and when required.
6. Ability and willingness to train non-skilled personnel.
7. Excellent communication skills – fluent English is essential.
8. Willing to work shifts.
9. A valid EU/EEA passport with the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union (VISA Support unavailable for this position).
10. A valid EU driver’s license.
11. Preferably a valid German security clearance according to § 7 of the German Aviation Security Act.
12. Direct and permanent employment with a German contract.
