SharePoint Developer, Journeyman at Tyto Athene, LLC – DoD support for USAREUR-AF (United States Army Europe & Africa) located in Wiesbaden, Germany. Positions are available in Poland (BemowoPiskie, Konotop, Swietoszow, Zagan), the Netherlands, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Kosovo, and Wiesbaden, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains SharePoint solutions to enhance discovery, access, and sharing of organizational information and business processes providing a central location for the Government and the contractor to access management-level information regarding the status of TO activities.
• Provides technical site maintenance and advice on complex issues related to animation, search engine techniques, link integrity, navigation, browsers, graphics, and other technical web developments.
• Evaluates site performance and ensures all web properties adhere to security and accessibility guidelines.
• Supports the CCMD Knowledge Management (KM) environment using SharePoint.
• Provides technical direction on SharePoint concepts.
• Applies Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles for full lifecycle management services.
• Participates in technical support for systems planning, testing, and development related to SharePoint.
• Assists in integrating new SharePoint systems and tools into existing architecture.
• Contributes to configuration management processes to ensure proper integration of SharePoint solutions.
• Supports applications development specifically for the SharePoint platform.
• Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
• Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.

Required

• US Citizen with active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Microsoft SharePoint Certification.
• 3-5 years of experience in SharePoint and/or similar data management solution development and administration.
• Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments while supporting multiple projects.
• Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow).
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, with a focus on continuous learning and process improvement.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance with eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance.
• Strong understanding of United States Army Europe & Africa.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desired

• Experience in information system design, including application programming on large-scale management systems and the development of software to satisfy design objectives.
• Experience with Java XML, JavaScript, AJAX, or other programming languages in order to design and develop prototypes from the ground up.
• Applies knowledge of technologies, application methodologies, processes and tools to support a client, project or entity.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology.
• Strong problem-solving, logic and analytic skills.
• Detail-oriented, as well as able to work well with clients.
• Experience with DoD IT security requirements.
• Experience with Virtual Desktop environments.
• Understanding of DoD Military Standards.
• Familiarity with DoD IT security standards and best practices.
