Westinghouse Electric Company LLC seeks a SG Field Service Technician to support maintenance, installation and inspection of Steam Generator equipment at nuclear outage sites worldwide. The role reports to the Manager Steam Generator Primary Products and is based in Mannheim.

You will coordinate equipment prep, on-site operation, software installation and network setup, collaborating across countries to enable safe and efficient outages.

Qualifications

• Mechatronical or electrotechnical education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a skilled worker/technician.
• Strong electrotechnical and/or mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of computers, software installation and networks.
• Ability to read technical documentation (mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, procedures).
• English proficiency: minimum A2; B1 or higher preferred.
• Local language proficiency (Germany, Spain, Belgium): native level or C1/C2 equivalent.
• Teamwork and open communication.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work in outage environments.

Responsabilités

• On-site operation of specialized equipment for NDE inspection (Eddy Current) or repair (plugging, welding, milling, etc).
• Installation and configuration of software on computers and control units including network setup.
• Support product and development activities during testing and qualification at the Service Center.
• Commissioning and testing of new equipment.
• Manufacturing or modification of electrical and mechanical components.
• Assembly of equipment and tooling.
• Cross-departmental and international collaboration with teams in several countries.

About the role:

As a SG Field Service Technician you will support the maintenance, preparation, on-site installation and execution of Steam Generator inspections and repairs during nuclear power plant outages worldwide. The role includes supporting engineering and qualification activities to support business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will report to the Manager Steam Generator Primary Products and be located at Mannheim

Key Responsibilities:
