Dedienne Aerospace Group is seeking a Service Mechanic Technician to perform maintenance, load-testing, inspection, and technical expertise on aeronautical tooling and ground support equipment. You will diagnose malfunctions, propose repair methods, and ensure safe, reliable equipment for customers, working autonomously with a hands-on, proactive approach.

The role covers on-site interventions at airlines, MROs and OEMs, plus documentation, calibration, and collaboration with field service

Qualifikationen

• Technical diploma or vocational degree in mechanics.
• Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance (hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Manual dexterity, precision, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Basic knowledge of welding, machining, or other special processes is an asset.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Technical English (reading and writing) required.

Aufgaben

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance mainly on mechanical and hydraulic aeronautical tooling.
• Carry out technical expertise, functional tests, and load tests to validate repaired equipment.
• Autonomously establish diagnostic methods and propose repair solutions when standard procedures are not sufficient.
• Dismantle, reassemble, adjust, and calibrate equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with technical standards.
• Conduct quality control checks before shipment and prepare equipment for delivery to customers.
• Perform on-site interventions at customer locations (airlines, MROs, OEMs) when required.
• Contribute to services quotations in coordination with the Customer Service Manager or Field Service Engineers.
• Ensure proper use of ERP and workshop documentation to track work progress and maintain records.
• Maintain workshop organization: cleanliness, tooling storage, stock management and safety compliance.

////// JOB SHORT DESCRIPTION

As a Service Mechanic Technician, you will carry out maintenance, repair, load-testing, inspection, and technical expertise on aeronautical tooling and ground support equipment. Beyond executing work instructions, you will use your technical know-how and diagnostic skills to identify malfunctions symptoms and root causes, propose repair methods, and ensure reliable and safe equipment for our customers. This hands-on position requires autonomy, adaptability, and a strong mechanical background.

////// MAIN MISSIONS & TASKS

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance mainly on mechanical and hydraulic aeronautical tooling (lifting equipment, support tools, measuring tools, GSE).
• Carry out technical expertise, functional tests, and load tests to validate the conformity of repaired equipment.
• Autonomously establish diagnostic methods and propose repair solutions when standard procedures are not sufficient.
• Dismantle, reassemble, adjust, and calibrate equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with technical standards.
• Conduct quality control checks before shipment and prepare equipment for delivery to customers.

• Technical diploma or vocational degree in mechanics (automotive, motorcycle, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, industrial mechanics, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance (hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems).
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Manual dexterity, precision, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Basic knowledge of welding, machining, or other special processes is an asset.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Technical English (reading and writing) required.
• Forklift, welding and lifting equipment certification would be appreciated.
