Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines HV to support on-site servicing and maintenance in the Greifswald region. You will work in a small team to diagnose and repair faults, ensuring turbines run reliably and safely with modern equipment.

You should have vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics or related fields, be comfortable at heights, and possess a Class B license. German and English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or energy and building technology.
• Place of work varies within the region; usually home in the evening.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps; SAP experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working at heights and operating safely above ground level.
• Valid Class B driver’s license (Class BE support may be available).
• Very good German (B2) and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance.
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults.
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause.
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance.
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way.
