Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines in Germany. You will perform on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure turbines operate reliably, usually returning home in the evenings within your region.

Ideally you have vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or industrial mechatronics, with experience using SAP, Microsoft, and iOS apps. You will work at heights and must hold a Class B license; German and English skills are required.

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or industrial mechatronics.
• Place of work varies within region; usually home again in the evening.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-site servicing and maintenance to ensure turbines operate reliably.
• As part of a team (at least two people), repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages and identify the cause.
• Carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.
