Vestas in Düsseldorf is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) to join our field operations. You will perform on-site servicing and maintenance on wind turbines, work in a small team, and help diagnose faults to ensure reliable operation.

Candidates have vocational training in electrical/electronics/mechatronics or a comparable technical qualification, strong German, good English, and a valid Class B license. You will travel regionally and document work digitally.

Qualifications

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or a comparable technical qualification.
• Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening.
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP.
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level.
• You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available).
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile.

Responsabilités

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance.
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults.
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause.
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance.
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way.
