Job summary

Vestas is seeking an Offshore Service Technician (m/f/d) for the Deutsche Bucht project. You will maintain electrical and mechanical systems on offshore turbines, perform inspections, repairs and component replacements, and uphold health and safety standards in a demanding marine environment.

We offer a 14/14 rotation, long-term contract potential, training at the Vestas Academy, and accommodation on an SOV with amenities.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics or a comparable field (EKF).
• Very strong English skills; offshore environment uses English as main language.
• Familiar with electrical and mechanical systems; practical experience preferred.
• Comfortable working on medium/high-voltage systems with safety mindset.

• You are responsible for the maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems
• Your tasks will also include carrying out inspections, repairs and replacing turbine components
• You will always keep health and safety regulations in mind
• By taking part in regular, job-related training courses, you continuously expand your knowledge

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics or a comparable field (EKF)
• English is the main language in the offshore environment, so you bring very strong English skills
• You are familiar with electrical and mechanical systems – ideally from practical experience
• You are confident working on medium or high-voltage systems
• Experience in the wind energy or offshore sector is an advantage, but not essential
• You have a strong awareness of safety and are willing to work at height and offshore
• You have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
