Jobbeschreibung
General information

You have experience in hospitality service, enjoy working in a team, and can keep a cool head even during busy events? Then we look forward to hearing from you!

As a member of our event management team, you will primarily support the operational execution of events – from setup and guest service to breakdown. You will work closely with our core team and temporary staff to ensure that all events run smoothly and professionally.

We are open to different working time models and are happy to discuss a suitable arrangement with you individually.

Your mission
  • Assisting with the preparation and follow-up of event spaces (e.g. setting up furniture and materials)
  • Serving drinks, clearing tables, and ensuring event areas remain clean and organized
  • Supervising and onboarding temporary service staff
  • Supporting event setup and teardown, including transport of materials
  • Optional: Office support (e.g. invoicing and administrative tasks)
Assignments are based on the event schedule, which is usually set at least four weeks in advance. Most events take place during the week, with occasional weekend shifts. There may be phases with multiple events in a short time and others without any scheduled shifts. Flexibility and occasional short-notice availability are therefore especially important.
Your profile
  • Experience in hospitality, F&B service, or hotel operations
  • Reliability, a strong sense of responsibility, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to work mainly in the afternoons, evenings, or on weekends
  • Enjoyment of guest interaction and a professional, friendly demeanor
  • Good command of German (English skills are a plus)

What we offer
  • Competitive compensation depending on experience (fixed-term contract with option for extension)
  • Flexible working hours, with a focus on afternoon and evening shifts
  • A varied position in a vibrant, international environment
  • A supportive, collegial team that provides thorough onboarding and assistance
  • Convenient access via public transport or bicycle and numerous amenities on campus
