Jobbeschreibung

Fugro Germany is looking for a Service Line Controller and Business Partner Land (m/f/d) based in Berlin, with occasional travel. Remote work is partly possible.

The person will report to the Regional Business Line Controller and support ensuring a strong internal financial control environment. Responsibilities include liaising with the Shared Service Centre, Local Regional, and Group teams in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

1. Provide financial guidance mainly for the Service Lines in the Land Division.
2. Manage project controlling for Service Lines in cooperation with the Regional Project Controller in the Netherlands.
3. Support planning, reporting, closing (according to IFRS), and controlling activities, including budgeting and rolling forecasts, in collaboration with the Regional Business Line Controller. Prepare monthly reports.
4. Establish relationships with the business, project controllers, and finance teams to coordinate finance activities efficiently.
5. Ensure appropriate accounting policies and financial controls are in place, driving process improvements and documentation.
6. Shape finance controlling activities with end-to-end knowledge and embed new ways of working.

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance and accounting or equivalent.
• Relevant working experience, preferably in project controlling and from an international company.
• Hands-on mentality.
• Basic accounting skills and good working knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics/Navision is a plus.
• Strong skills in Excel and MS Office.
• Analytical skills and interest in financial topics and project risks.
• Proactive, accurate, with well-developed communication skills.
• Solution-oriented, entrepreneurial, and holistic thinking.
• Team player.
• Excellent command of English and German, both spoken and written.
