Position Details

On behalf of Loewe Marine, MARPRO is seeking a Service Engineer to join a team of 10 colleagues with various responsibilities. The company’s headquarters are located in Bremen, Germany. You will report to the Head of the Service team.

Main Responsibilities

1. Conduct installation and servicing of steering gears and rudder systems onboard Loewe Marine vessels.
2. Provide remote technical support as required.
3. Issue technical reports on work performed.
4. Communicate with customers onsite and remotely about required work.

Qualifications

• Degree as marine engineer, naval architect, shipbuilder, mechanical engineer, or related field.
• At least 5 years of technical maritime experience.
• Experience as a service engineer, especially with maneuvering systems, is a plus.
• Electrical/hydraulic competencies are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Strong command of English, both oral and written.

• Service-minded with good interpersonal skills.
• Solid organizational skills, structured and efficient work approach.
• Willing to travel up to 180 days a year.
• Ability to work effectively across different cultures worldwide.
