Position: Service Engineer for Software Integration in the field

Location: Bremen, Germany

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and fault rectification (electrical/mechanical) on customer systems
• Consulting and coordinating activities at customer sites
• Carrying out services on customer systems
• Documenting services and creating error logs
• Integrating software in customer devices across Germany
• Testing software components according to specifications
• Performing acceptance tests of IT system platforms
• Ensuring compliance with costs, quality, and deadlines
• Coordinating interfaces with national and international companies involved
• Maintaining complex database applications
• Supporting the creation of training, maintenance, and operating concepts for military customers
• Assisting the development department during design phases
• Participating in industry and customer training courses
• Supporting costing and concept creation for integration, installation, and commissioning, as well as technical and logistical support

Requirements:

• Completed technical training in electrical engineering or IT, preferably with additional qualification
• Knowledge of defence technology products is advantageous
• Valid driver's license for category B vehicles, preferably also BE and C1E
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Experience handling hazardous substances and protective equipment
• Knowledge of software and hardware integration
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• High willingness to travel
• Good technical understanding
• Ability to work independently and responsibly, with a service-oriented approach
• Attention to detail, precision, and quality awareness
• Strong intercultural competence
