The Support Engineer (L1) ensures that IT infrastructure and systems remain operational by identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems, and restoring service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.

What you'll be doing

Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Level 1 Support with a focus on Network and Security tasks
  • Monitoring of tools and opening tickets as needed
  • Performing documented changes
  • Documentation and reporting
  • Further development and optimization of the overall solution in close coordination with the customer
  • Providing end-customer support
  • Supporting troubleshooting measures
  • Technical coordination as well as creation of technical documentation and reports
  • Participation in 3-shift operation and on-call duties

Das bringen Sie mit:

  • A successfully completed technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or a comparable technical qualification
  • Professional experience in the areas of Network and Security
  • Good knowledge of Cisco LAN/WLAN environments (at least CCNA level), as well as knowledge in ACI, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, and network management tools
  • Structured approach combined with a very careful, precise, and results-oriented way of working, especially in problem analysis
  • Strong customer and service orientation, good manners, and good communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent German and good English skills in spoken and written form
