Summary

For the “Integration & Service Periscopes” division, we are looking for a “Service and Integration Technician Sea Systems (f/m/d)” at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.

The “Integration & Service Periscopes” department is responsible for the manufacture and repair of submarine periscopes and optronic mast systems for national and international customers. Here, complete systems are commissioned in the factory and customer acceptance tests are carried out. The service team integrates the systems worldwide and carries out acceptance tests at the customer's premises.

Your Tasks

1. Commissioning and software integration of periscope and Optronic mast systems in the factory and at the customer's premises
2. Customer acceptance of systems in the factory and at the customer's premises
3. Independent troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair and commissioning of customer devices and small assemblies
4. Analysis of faults, implementation of problem solutions
5. Carrying out system configurations and installing software as well as carrying out software updates
6. Creating customer and device documentation (test logs, acceptance documentation, error logs, diagnostic reports)
7. Collaboration in the creation of service and test instructions
8. Carrying out and ensuring the necessary quality checks in cooperation with the assembly department

Willingness to travel internationally for service activities is a prerequisite.

Your Profile

1. Completed training in the field of mechatronics, electronics and further qualification as a mechatronics/electronics technician/engineer or comparable
2. Several years of professional experience in the field of activity
3. Solid knowledge in the assembly of optoelectronic devices as well as confident handling of software tools and device software
4. Soldering and bonding skills, ideally certified soldering, bonding and crimping training
5. Independent, precise and structured way of working and enjoy working in a team
6. Confident appearance with customers and confident interaction with internal interface partners
7. Business fluent in German and English
