We are seeking a Server Windows Engineer with profound knowledge in operating, securing, and migrating Microsoft Active Directory, as well as implementing and governing our Hybrid identities within the Microsoft 365 environment.

You will assist in developing, operating, and maintaining our (virtualized) Windows environment, ensuring continuous operation, monitoring, and problem-solving to serve high-availability services in a mixed environment of office and production IT. Additionally, you will support our Identity team in implementing Identity & Access Management and modern authentication solutions in our Entra ID environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage (virtualized) Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, including user account management, group policies, and security configurations
• Lead and execute central Active Directory migration projects with minimal disruption
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions
• Manage patching, maintenance, and orchestration of Windows server infrastructure in coordination with IT security
• Support governance processes for Identity Management according to SWISS KRONO’s IT strategy
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Windows and identity-related services

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience with Windows and Active Directory infrastructure in multinational companies
• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent professional experience
• Good knowledge of System Center Suite, Microsoft 365 services, Terminal Services, and PowerShell
• Experience with virtualized cloud infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or comparable
• Profound knowledge of additional topics such as Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, VDI, PKI, log management, or automation pipelines
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator are a plus
• English proficiency (B2 or higher); knowledge of German or Polish is advantageous
