In this hybrid Berlin-based role, you’ll launch new affiliate sites across markets, optimise on-page and off-page SEO, and drive revenue through commercial SEO initiatives.

A fast-growing performance marketing business is hiring an SEO Lead to drive the growth of a high-performing affiliate portfolio across multiple international markets.

This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role where you’ll own SEO performance across multiple content-led websites, launch new affiliate projects from the ground up and lead a team of SEO Content Managers. You’ll have genuine ownership over strategy, execution and commercial outcomes while working closely with some of the world’s largest publishing partners.

Salary: Up to €85,000

Location: Berlin, hybrid working

What you’ll be doing

• Own the SEO strategy across a portfolio of high-performing affiliate websites
• Launch new affiliate sites from concept through to go-live across multiple markets
• Drive both on-page and off-page SEO performance to increase rankings, traffic and revenue
• Develop and execute content-led SEO strategies that deliver long-term organic growth
• Lead backlink acquisition and link-building campaigns to strengthen domain authority
• Manage relationships with publishers, agencies and external partners
• Identify new market opportunities through keyword research, competitor analysis and market sizing
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of SEO Content Managers
• Work closely with Product, Content and commercial teams to prioritise high-impact SEO initiatives

What you’ll need

• Proven experience leading SEO strategy within affiliate marketing, publishing or high-growth digital businesses
• Strong leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing SEO teams
• Excellent knowledge of content-led SEO, on-page optimisation and off-page SEO strategies
• Hands-on experience running successful link-building campaigns
• Strong commercial understanding of how SEO drives traffic, conversions and revenue
• Native German and fluent English, with the ability to work confidently across both languages
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritise work based on commercial impact
• Comfortable operating within fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
• Experience working with publishers or publisher partnerships would be highly advantageous
• Experience within iGaming or affiliate marketing is highly desirable, although not essential
• This is not a purely technical SEO role. The ideal candidate will have a balanced background across content strategy, leadership and commercial SEO.

This role would suit an experienced SEO leader who enjoys building content-led growth strategies, leading high-performing teams and taking full ownership of SEO performance across a growing international affiliate portfolio.
