Sensor Architect & MEMS Architect (f/m/div.)

Join us at Bosch Homburg as a Sensor Architect & MEMS Architect (f/m/div.).

Position Overview: We seek a motivated and creative engineer interested in integrating and characterizing acoustic transducers within complex MEMS systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in consumer electronics and IoT, developing new applications for intelligent MEMS sensors and actuators.

Responsibilities
  • Manage project interfaces related to MEMS design, characterization, qualification, data engineering, and system integration.
  • Analyze measurement data from transducers to understand behavior and guide design improvements.
  • Collaborate with laboratory teams to evaluate data, derive insights on performance and reliability, and communicate findings effectively.
  • Understand use cases and sub-components of acoustic systems, including packaging and embedded software.
  • Contribute to developing new data analysis strategies, working with internal and external teams to align with business goals and foster innovation.
Qualifications
  • Strong interdisciplinary understanding and communication skills; customer-oriented with a creative, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Independent, goal-oriented work approach; analytical, structured, and organized.
  • Deep knowledge of system testing, MEMS components, and measurement systems; several years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Python), with experience in database querying languages (e.g., SQL) preferred.
  • Fluent English (C1) required; German (B2) a plus.
  • Master's or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Microsystems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; PhD candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
