A global player in the next generation of mobility is expanding its quality leadership team and seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to support the development and industrialisation of cutting-edge autonomous vehicle systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring that supply chain partners meet rigorous quality standards, supporting the successful ramp-up of innovative vehicle technologies aimed at both consumer and commercial markets.

As a senior member of the quality function, you will:

• Guide suppliers through readiness, qualification, and launch phases for new product introductions.
• Lead technical audits, supplier evaluations, and drive continuous improvement across supply chain operations.
• Implement and enforce compliance with automotive and aerospace quality frameworks including IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and EN/ISO standards.
• Take ownership of issue resolution—conducting in-depth root cause analysis (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa) and managing corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop inspection strategies, supplier KPIs, and lead performance reviews to improve delivery, cost, and quality.
• Support industrial process optimization and apply Lean, Six Sigma, and mistake-proofing methodologies across supplier facilities.
• Coordinate across teams (engineering, procurement, logistics) to align quality expectations and ensure traceability throughout the production cycle.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supplier or manufacturing quality—preferably in a high-volume automotive or aerospace environment.
• Proven ability to manage quality systems and production readiness across global suppliers.
• In-depth understanding of process control, special processes, and component validation (metrology, GD&T, technical drawings).
• Familiarity with digital tools (SAP, Teamcenter, MS Office) and a data-driven mindset.
• Fluent communication in both English and German.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with willingness to travel internationally.
