About this role - Tech Lead (Full-Time, Germany, Start Date: July)

Our client is a growing startup disrupting sustainable data solutions. They developed a platform to track and scale sustainability impact. The company is a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich, offering a science-based solution that streamlines impact data collection and verification for confident stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a growing development team, including coaching developers to upgrade skills
• Make key technical and architectural decisions
• Develop and optimize the web application, including code and algorithm improvements
• Conduct regular code reviews and stakeholder meetings to ensure best practices and high-quality code
• Collaborate with designers and provide input on technical limitations
• Research and recommend new technologies to meet business needs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of documented experience or equivalent proficiency in web development
• Advanced knowledge in:
• Next.js
• React.js
• TypeScript
• Test Driven Development
• AWS Services
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Based in Germany
• Comfortable communicating ideas and deliverables to the team
• Bonus: Living in Munich or Frankfurt, experience with Data Science or Machine Learning
