1) Responsible for managing the workflow in the assigned service area and handling related administrative tasks in close cooperation with supervisors.
2) Create a warm and inviting environment for guests.
3) Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, accurately take and enter guest orders into the system, and ensure a comfortable and genuine guest experience.
4) Possess professional knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, etiquette, appropriate table layouts, service utensils, and menu items.
5) Provide attentive, personalized service to meet guest requests promptly and effectively.
6) Set up, clean, and serve tables promptly after use to ensure timely seating for guests.
7) Keep the designated service station clean, organized, and well-stocked to ensure readiness.
8) Have complete knowledge of all menus to answer guest questions about ingredients.
9) Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and proper upkeep of all equipment and property used in service tasks.
10) Prevent breakage and loss of equipment, using only authorized chemicals in approved methods.
11) Show respect for co-workers and cooperate with management decisions.
12) Attend ship and departmental meetings as required.
13) Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with grooming standards.
14) Participate in food and beverage tastings, and attend all scheduled training and menu briefings.
15) Handle guest complaints courteously and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction, and report comments and issues to management.
16) Actively promote and implement the philosophy behind the product.
17) Be familiar with the assigned security roll number (from the ship's articles) and understand duties in case of emergency.
