Our client is one of the leading independent, partner-led Corporate Finance / M&A boutiques in the DACH region, with over 20 years of experience and numerous successful transactions.

To strengthen their teams in Germany, they are hiring a (Senior) Vice President / Junior Director M&A.

Tasks

• Supervise and execute national and international M&A projects (buy-side and sell-side) across various industries in collaboration with the partner.
• Support and manage all processes throughout transactions, including preparation, contact, due diligence, negotiations, and signing.
• Lead project management teams, oversee due diligence, and coordinate client and buyer interactions.
• Lead client meetings, pitches, and provide strategic advice and proposals.
• Ensure projects are managed effectively, tasks delegated appropriately, and reviewed as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior client executives and external partners (lawyers, investors, etc.).
• Participate in recruiting, mentoring associates and analysts, and support their career development.

Requirements

• 7-8+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance / M&A advisory, from investment banks or boutique advisory firms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
• Entrepreneurial, ambitious, quick to adapt to new tasks, and focused on quality and success.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter mentality, and proactive approach.
• Ability to manage projects independently, lead teams, and mentor junior staff.
• Fluent in English and German.
