Job Description:

Our client is one of the leading independent, partner-led Corporate Finance/M&A boutiques in the DACH region and can look back on more than 20 years of M&A experience and several hundred successfully completed transactions.

To strengthen their already highly effective teams in Germany, they are hiring a (Senior) Vice President/Junior Director M&A.

Tasks

• Supervision and execution of national and international M&A projects (buy-Side and sell-side) in various industry sectors in direct cooperation with the partner.
• Support and management of the corresponding processes throughout the entire transaction from preparation, contacting, due diligence, (contract) negotiations and signing.
• Leading project management teams, including oversight on due diligence and client/buyer interactions.
• Leading client meetings and pitches and providing strategic advice and proposals.
• Making sure running projects are managed appropriately, with tasks delegated and reviewed where necessary.
• Build and maintain relationships with client senior executives and external counterparties (lawyers, investors etc.).
• Actively participate in recruiting and mentoring associates and analysts and help them achieve their career goals.

Requirements

• At least 7-8 years of relevant practical experience in corporate finance/M&A advisory from an investment bank or boutique advisory firm.
• Strong project management skills. Able to manage multiple projects and workstreams effectively, delivering high-quality work on schedule.
• As an entrepreneurial and highly ambitious individual, you can quickly familiarise yourself with new tasks and are highly quality- and success-orientated.
• Great interpersonal skills with a self-starter mentality and the ability to get things done.
• You can manage projects independently, lead teams and train younger employees.
• Fluent in English and German.
