We are Legartis, a LegalTech startup that uses artificial intelligence to revolutionise contract review and analysis with our SaaS solution. Our diverse team consists of 25 experts from the fields of product, software development, machine learning, data science, marketing, and sales.

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who blends a deep understanding of user experience with a strong curiosity for emerging technologies. This role is perfect for someone who not only excels in designing elegant, efficient user experiences but also thrives when experimenting with AI tools and collaborating on product decisions that drive measurable business impact.

Your mission

As part of our agile and self-organised product team, you will:

• Design and optimise seamless, intuitive user experiences across the full user journey for our AI-driven contract review platform

• Leverage AI-based tools and LLMs to enhance and automate parts of the UX discovery process (e.g., idea generation, prototyping)
  
  

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate ideas clearly

• Conduct user research and usability tests to gain valuable insights

• Actively evaluate design outcomes by defining UX success metrics, conducting impact assessments, and using data to guide iteration

• Collaborate closely with product management (bonus if you’ve been in a PM seat before), development, legal engineering, and marketing to align design efforts with business goals and clearly communicate new product capabilities to the world

• Develop and maintain design systems and UI guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability

• Bring a strong voice to strategic product decisions and represent user needs in both discovery and delivery phases

Your profile

You are a UX designer with a product mindset and a sharp eye for outcomes. You’re equally comfortable with Figma as you are with prompting GPT, and you enjoy exploring how emerging tools can streamline the design process.

• At least 3 years of experience in UX/UI design of SaaS applications

• Proven track record designing AI-powered software - involving LLMs, explainable AI, or chat-based user interfaces is a plus

• Confident in using design tools such as Figma and demonstrated experience using prompting and generative tools to support ideation, testing, and prototyping

• Strong design portfolio showcasing user-centered design, user research, user testing, and impact measurement

• Affinity for tech – you understand how interfaces are built and can collaborate well with developers (basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is enough)

• Fluent in English, German (B1), or currently learning German

• European work permit required

• Creative problem solver with a user-first mindset, with deep respect for the full user journey

• Self-motivated team player with strong organisational skills and flexible mindset
