Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to shape and enhance our digital platforms and online products through a human-centered design approach. Working closely with product managers, stakeholders, and developers, you’ll ideate, design, and validate innovative user experiences and interfaces. Your focus will be on optimizing our e-commerce ecosystem using data-driven methods, particularly in areas like AI integration, search functionality, navigation, filtering, personalization, cross-selling, up-selling, and streamlining checkout processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as a core member of the in-house UX team, driving AI-assisted, data-driven improvements aimed at boosting e-commerce conversion rates.
• Investigate user journeys, analyze qualitative and quantitative insights from analytics and e-commerce tools, and translate findings into streamlined user flows with exceptional usability.
• Leverage platform capabilities to enhance navigation, filtering, personalization, and product recommendations.
• Oversee UX project management—organizing kick-off sessions, workshops, and stakeholder reviews to ensure alignment at every design stage.
• Conduct usability testing both online and on-site, create testing protocols, build prototypes, and document results for continuous improvement.

Your Background

• Proven experience in UX design within an e-commerce environment, ideally supported by a degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Strong grasp of conversion optimization strategies, supported by hands-on experience in turning analytical insights into actionable design solutions.
• Skilled in uncovering user needs, applying usability principles, and running prototype evaluations from planning to analysis.
• Proficient with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Confident communicator with excellent facilitation and presentation skills in German.
