What you’ll do

Are you passionate about creating software products that delight customers? User Experience and AI are central to SAP. We develop the SAP Cloud ALM platform to support the entire application lifecycle for SAP solutions, a key part of the RISE Customer Delivery Initiative.

We are seeking a talented, creative UX Designer to join our global team, focusing on user experience and AI integration. This role is based in St. Leon Rot.

In this role you will:

1. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and designers to craft user-centric, AI-enhanced solutions.
2. Guide product direction from a design perspective and contribute to SAP’s design system.
3. Participate in all phases of design-led development, from research to prototyping and testing.
4. Learn from and collaborate with UX experts across SAP.
5. Engage with users to understand needs and develop concepts for new functionalities.
6. Create and validate prototypes, iterating quickly based on feedback.
7. Communicate design decisions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Stay updated on AI, UX trends, and tools, adapting designs to meet evolving needs.

What you bring

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, User Experience, or related fields.
2. 3-5 years of experience in software application or system design, with a record of high-quality software delivery.
3. Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Mural, Sketch, etc.
4. Familiarity with SAP Fiori design system and guidelines.
5. Experience with user research methodologies and applying them in product development.
6. Strong visualization and communication skills.
7. Experience with AI platforms, preferably Joule, and leveraging their features for UX enhancement.
8. Willingness to continuously learn about new methodologies, technologies, and trends.
9. Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
10. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
