As an UI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the user experience of our AI-driven legal solutions. Our B2B solutions primarily assist professionals in law research and legal advising. You will collaborate closely with our design, engineering, and product teams to develop and optimize intuitive, responsive, and scalable UI components, bringing innovation and efficiency to our products.

YOUR TEAM

You will join our Tech Team of around 10 people, including 3 Frontend Engineers led by Aurélien, 1 UI Designer, 4 AI Engineers, as well as Backend and DevOps Engineers.

Aurélien leads the Frontend Engineering Team. With extensive experience in software development and a pragmatic leadership style, Aurélien values independent thinking and efficient solutions that drive real-world impact.

Your responsibilities

• Develop UI Components: Using React, TypeScript, hooks, and responsive design.
• Performance Optimization: Implement code splitting, lazy loading, and caching techniques.
• Design Implementation: Pixel-perfect execution from Figma designs with Tailwind and animations.
• Backend Integration: Connect APIs using RESTful services, integrating WASM solutions for encrypted communication.
• Testing & Debugging: Write tests using Vitest, ensuring clean, functional code.
• End-to-End Responsibility: From design handover to backend integration, ensuring APIs fetch the correct data.
• Tech Stack Optimization: Streamline tooling, optimize the codebase for better scalability and maintainability.

• Working Permission: Germany
• Language: Fluent English
• Experience: Full development lifecycle, from design to backend connection using React, TypeScript, Hooks, Context API, HTML5, CSS3, Web Components.
• Backend integration: Node.js, API design, authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, Keycloak).
• Delivery: Results delivered in fast-paced startup environments.
• Technical Debt: Experience in optimizing technical debt and implementing best coding practices.
• Optional: Familiarity with Webpack, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
