Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) is a leading business department in the Corporate Bank, working with clients worldwide. It relies heavily on its IT platform to serve the bank's clients. The group is working on a technology refresh of its IT platform to enable new services and enhance business process automation.

The in-house IT team has successfully designed, built, and deployed a strategic platform for TF&L. Building on this success, there is an ongoing effort to develop our strategic architecture further.

Your primary focus will be to develop new user interfaces, UI kits, and design systems for both clients and internal users, contributing to the technological transformation of a key revenue-generating business in the bank.

Your key responsibilities

1. Participate in business-oriented delivery teams to implement new strategic UI and BFF.
2. Work within the UI core platform team to develop UI kits and design systems that are reusable across hundreds of developers, collaborating across the bank.
3. Maintain existing UI and BFF components, primarily built in recent years.
4. Provide SL3 production support, ensuring effective monitoring and quick resolution of issues, including UI bugs, compatibility issues, connectivity, and BFF behavior.
5. Ensure a top-notch look and feel, delivering market-leading quality and excellence.

Your skills and experiences

1. 5+ years of software engineering experience, including UI and full-stack development (UI-only considered), with strong understanding of algorithms and computer science fundamentals.
2. Excellent knowledge of web UI technologies: TypeScript, CSS, HTML/DOM, browsers.
3. Understanding of networks: HTTP, WebSockets, connectivity.
4. Knowledge of BFF topics: APIs, data virtualization, authentication.
5. Experience in building organizational UI kits and design systems, including communication across teams, is a plus. Fluent English communication skills are essential for global collaboration.
