Our client is one of the leading suppliers of fashionable clothing and accessories throughout Germany.

The Role

  • Handle company-wide travel activities including policy adherence, staffing levels, ticketing, emergency travel, hotel room availability, expense reporting and quality control.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain company-wide travel policies and ensure the policy is supported by 3rd
  • Reduce travel costs within the limits of the policy.
  • Negotiate with air carriers, preferred hotels, car rental companies, and ground transportation companies to reduce costs
  • Generate monthly reports for the Board of Directors.
  • Internally manage the Travel Section

Requirements

  • Relevant Degree is essential
  • Minimum of 6 years managerial experience.
  • Knowledge of domestic air, hotel contracts and pricing is essential
  • Knowledge of trade show operations
  • Strong working knowledge of IT systems
  • Strong oral communication and writing skills (German & English)
  • Must be self-directed, but also able to work as a team member
