At Vesputi, a mobility tech company based in Germany, we're actively building this future with our innovative solution: The Mobilitybox. An API-first platform that enables businesses to integrate public transit into their apps or platforms. Our core is built on Ruby on Rails, designed with microservices in a Kubernetes/Docker environment.

As we expand, we seek talented developers to join us. Your role will be pivotal in scaling our vision, enhancing our Mobilitybox backend, and contributing to a project that has a tangible positive impact on urban mobility.

• Design and implement the first open, fully standardized ticketing interface across Europe in a highly efficient, dedicated team.
• Develop backend services that ensure our partners have the easiest integration and smoothest operation of the ticketing interface in the market.
• Integrate and standardize different ticketing standards and tariff systems.
• Continuously improve our services by developing new features for our partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing open interfaces, ideally in public transport or mobility.
• Solid understanding of public transit ticketing systems and technologies such as VDV-KA, Motics, UIC-Barcodes, and ION.
• Ability to understand how the tools you build are used by clients, keeping the user perspective in mind.
• Proactive contribution with your knowledge, skills, and ideas to our vision.
• Passion for innovation and contributing to sustainable mobility.
• Proficiency in German and English at a native level.
• Motivated to work in a product company with a lasting impact and a clear roadmap.
