Jobbeschreibung

Provide world-class field engineering customer service through the efficient delivery of GRC’s Infrared Thermographic Services, adhering to the GRC baseline and client-specific contracts.

Offer value-added risk engineering services and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

Identify client needs and communicate potential opportunities to the Account Engineer.

Key criteria for performance evaluation should include:

  1. Providing high-quality IR Thermographic field engineering services with reports of high standard.
  2. Conducting effective and efficient field services within approximately 100% of quoted hours to ensure account efficiency and profitability.
  3. Ensuring client satisfaction and retention through quality services and excellent communication at all organizational levels.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Infrared Thermography or as an Electrician; in-house training available for electricians.
  • Journeyman Electrician preferred but not required.
  • Two-year technical degree in Maintenance, Reliability, Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent experience.
  • Level I or II Certified Infrared Thermographer per ASNT or equivalent, with strong electrical and technical skills for Level I candidates.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, power panels, switchgear, motor control centers, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience servicing major accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including infrared software and interfacing with external devices.
  • Ability to climb ladders over 3 stories, walk extensively, and work in various facility environments.
  • Ability to work effectively with administrative and support staff.

General Responsibilities :

  • Conduct field surveys to meet GRC and client-specific requirements.
  • Proficiency in Infrared Thermography, thermal imaging, and site inspections across all electrical voltage classes and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure comprehensive scanning of electrical equipment across facilities.
  • Utilize airborne ultrasound equipment where applicable, with formal training provided by GRC.
  • Perform visual assessments for electrical system anomalies and risks.
  • Review all client-specific ASIs thoroughly.
  • Complete detailed GRC Infrared Thermographic Survey Reports, ensuring accuracy in equipment inventory, imagery, and findings.
  • Identify and categorize findings by severity and impact ratings as per GRC standards.

Administrative Duties :

  • Self-motivated, conscientious, and capable of working independently.
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time, with flexibility based on workload.
  • Seek technical support when necessary and work cooperatively with support staff.
  • Commit to continuous improvement and accept additional assignments as needed.
  • Understand that job descriptions may evolve with business needs.
