In collaboration with your colleagues, your role is pivotal in maintaining the high quality of our software. Your expertise supports us and our clients throughout the software development process, contributing to the continuous improvement of IT systems. You provide essential support to the test organization by executing functional and non-functional tests, supplying automated scripts, and interacting with the applications and databases under test. Together with your team, you will design CI/CD processes and staging processes. Additionally, your involvement in client communication and pre-sales activities will further enhance our client relationships and business opportunities.

You will be responsible for generating innovative solutions to consistently improve the performance of our customers’ complex products and business processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with our innovation team and devising testing and test automation strategies for our new projects
• Acting as a technical lead, leading projects from a technical perspective, and mentoring colleagues
• Maintaining close contact with our clients
• Participating in pre-sales and up-sales

Your Profile

If you are passionate about maintaining the high quality of software, we would be delighted to hear from you!

Furthermore, you have the following profile:

• Strong experience in test automation, covering UI (web and/or desktop), integration level (API, other protocols) and the ability to set up proper automation solutions
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages and OOP preferred: C#, Java, TypeScript, Python
• Strong experience with CI/CD, establishing pipelines for test automation and setting up quality gates
• Proficiency in dealing with databases, IoT, IIoT, and container technologies
• Strong communication skills in German and English, with the ability to discuss technical topics directly with clients
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to act as a role model and mentor less experienced colleagues

Further skills and background would be desirable:

• Experience in test data management
• Experience or good understanding of DevOps (Docker, K8S)
• Experience or good understanding of performance testing
• Experience in hardware testing and/or simulations (HIL and/or SIL testing)
• The ability to communicate directly with businesses and understand their needs (business acumen)
