As a Senior Technology Consultant (m/w/x) Research & Innovation, you will be part of our Research & Innovation team in Gütersloh. You identify new technological trends, evaluate their potential, and support their implementation. Your expertise drives strategic decisions and ensures Arvato remains at the forefront of technology. Responsibilities

1. Technology scouting & evaluation: Identify and analyze relevant technologies and trends, support the development of a technology radar, and monitor market and competitors to ensure the company's future viability.
2. Consulting & strategy: Advise management on a strategic level through clear reports and presentations with well-founded technological recommendations.
3. Implementation: Plan and lead the implementation of new technical solutions, ensuring their seamless integration into existing systems and processes.
4. Knowledge transfer: Promote knowledge sharing through training and workshops on new technologies and contribute to the development of further training programs.
5. Network & partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with technology partners, suppliers, and industry experts; participate in relevant trade shows and events.

Profile

• Qualification: A successful degree in (business) computer science, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience: At least three years in identifying, evaluating, and implementing new technologies or related fields.
• Technology understanding & programming skills: Solid understanding of current IT trends, cloud technologies, AI, digital transformation, and programming in languages such as Python, Java, ABAP, C#.
• Work style: Analytical thinking, structured approach to technological challenges, and the ability to derive strategic recommendations and drive change.
• Language skills: Very good German and English skills for communication with international teams and partners.
