Airbus Defence and Space GmbH is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager for EF Simulation Programs. You will coordinate the full lifecycle of complex simulation projects, leading cross‑functional teams across engineering, systems, software, and verification disciplines.

The role involves stakeholder coordination with customers and suppliers, effort estimation, and ongoing status reporting to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery while upholding high technical and security standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences.
• Minimum of 15 years work experience in the training and flight simulation industry.
• Experience in the EF programme (aircraft, training) and flight simulation.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Good communication and diplomacy skills with ability to operate under pressure.
• Good knowledge of English both written and spoken; German is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and lead the technical activities along the complete project lifecycle (i.e. bids, proposal, design, implementation, integration, testing, acceptance and roll-out).
• Manage cross functional teams to deliver the engineering solution. Working closely with Chief Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Development, V&V, InfoSec, Ops. Factor, Config. & Data Management, etc.
• Coordinate the project technical tasks with the internal and external stakeholders such as Customer, partner companies or suppliers.
• Estimate effort for the technical activities and define resources needed for the project.
• Monitoring and regular reporting of project status to stakeholders.
• Responsible for technical, cost and schedule performance for the engineering activities.
• Conduct and participate in project meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
