Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead EF Simulation Programs across the full project lifecycle. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and manage internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences, 15 years’ flight-simulation experience, and fluent English; German language skills are a plus. A security clearance or eligibility is required.

• Coordinate and lead the technical activities along the complete project lifecycle (i.e. bids, proposal, design, implementation, integration, testing, acceptance and roll‑out).
• Manage cross functional teams to deliver the engineering solution. Working closely with Chief Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Development, V&V, InfoSec, Ops, Factor, Config. & Data Management, etc.
• Coordinate the project technical tasks with internal and external stakeholders such as Customer, partner companies or suppliers.
• Estimate effort for the technical activities and define resources needed for the project.
• Monitoring and regular reporting of project status to stakeholders.
• Responsible for technical, cost and schedule performance for the engineering activities.
• Conduct and participate in project meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years work experience (within the training and flight simulation industry).
• Experience in the EF programme (e.g., aircraft, training) and flight simulation.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Good communication and diplomacy skills with ability to operate under pressure.
• Good knowledge of English both written and spoken is required to be able to work in a multicultural environment. Project language is English. German is beneficial.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
