The Amazon Logistics Energy & Infrastructure team is dedicated to building the infrastructure for a large electric fleet and EV charging network worldwide. We focus on EV Service Equipment (EVSE) to manage the transition to electric fleets, pioneering new solutions without a predefined playbook. Join us to make history!

The Senior Program Manager for Electrification Products will lead the application of EVSE technologies to support large-scale EV deployments, ensuring energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Responsibilities include defining technical requirements, leading product validation and pilots, and supporting onsite installation and commissioning.

Ideal candidates will have a background in electrification or automotive engineering, product management skills, and the ability to develop and validate EVSE products from scratch. They should be strategic, hands-on, and capable of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment, constantly seeking product improvements.

Key job responsibilities

1. Provide technical diligence on EVSE products, including requirements, specifications, and test cases based on business and customer needs.
2. Understand EVSE design, operations, costs, safety, security, and identify areas for improvement.
3. Validate EVSE products against technical and regulatory standards.
4. Manage partnerships to ensure EVSE interoperability with EVs and other systems.
5. Define technical specifications with vendors and oversee testing protocols.
6. Address field issues through root-cause analysis, remediation, and preventive measures.

A day in the life

This role involves collaboration across engineering, construction, operations, product management, software, finance, legal, and business development teams to launch and improve products and expand business opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in technical product or program management
• Experience working directly with engineering teams
• Experience in software development
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in project management disciplines (scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk)
• Experience defining KPIs/SLA's for large businesses and reporting to leadership
