Job Description:

As a Senior Technical Product Manager - Heat Pump (m/f/d), you will drive the technical vision and strategy for our heat pump offering. You are deeply familiar with heat pump technology from both hardware and software perspectives. Your role involves defining technical requirements to better integrate our heat pumps into our energy management system and virtual power plant. You will align technical teams to develop the best heat pump product on the market.

At Enpal, you will be responsible for:

1. Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the technical product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our heat pump offering.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead product development efforts across teams, especially aligning customer needs with hardware and software delivery teams.
3. Stakeholder Management & Communication: Manage stakeholder relationships, report on key initiatives, and translate technical concepts into business value.
4. Technical Product Development: Oversee the product lifecycle, prioritize features, and maintain the technical landscape for security, resilience, and scalability.
5. Technical Problem Solving: Make technical decisions based on system requirements, heat pump expertise, and infrastructure constraints, engaging with engineering and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• You have a strategic mindset and technical depth with heat pumps, and a passion for building great products. You combine technical and communication skills.
• You have 4+ years of technical heat pump experience, ideally with an engineering background, and success in cross-team initiatives.
• You have a proven track record of delivering successful products using agile methodologies.
• You excel in product discovery, prioritization, and roadmap development, balancing technical debt and business needs.
• You possess strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making and relevant metrics tracking.
• You have excellent communication skills in English, capable of articulating complex technical concepts and driving alignment. German is a plus.
• You are self-driven, able to operate independently, take ownership, and deliver results.
• You take a pragmatic approach to product development, focusing on iterative improvements with high standards for security, resilience, and scalability.
