Zusammenfassung

PUMA is seeking an experienced Apparel Technical Developer to lead block creation and ensure fit consistency across multiple product categories. You will work with design, product management and development teams globally, providing technical guidance on pattern, construction and 3D workflows.

Ideal candidates hold a higher diploma in Fashion and Garment Technology with 8+ years in technical development, strong patterns, grading and block development expertise, and fluency in English.

Qualifikationen

• Higher Diploma or above in Fashion and Garment Technology.
• 8+ years of experience in apparel technical development with pattern making, grading and block development.
• Deep understanding of fit principles, size & fit systems, and garment construction techniques.
• Experience across knits, wovens, tights, sports bras and outerwear.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience evaluating fit, block performance and product improvements.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Design, Product Management and Development teams across regions.
• Experience with 3D tools (V-Stitcher, Style3D, CLO) and digital workflows.
• Fluent in English; international exposure and intercultural collaboration preferred.

• Conduct block reviews and market-reality assessments in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Provide early-stage technical guidance to Business Units on fit, construction and workmanship
• Recommend and validate block selection across styles to ensure fit consistency
• Support training and education session on size & fit standards and block usage
• Support milestone fitting sessions onsite, providing expert input on fit, block application, construction and pattern execution
• Support designers’ 3D workflow by providing technical guidance on pattern and construction.

YOUR TALENT

• Higher Diploma or above in Fashion and Garment Technology

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in apparel technical development, with strong expertise in pattern making, grading, and block development

• Deep understanding of fit principles, size &fit systems, and garment construction techniques

• Experience across a broad range of product categories, including knits, wovens, tights, sports bras, and outerwear

• Strong analytical mindset with proven experience in evaluating fit, block performance, and product improvements

• Solid cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with Design, Product Management, and Development teams across regions

• Experience with 3D tools (V-Stitcher, Style3D, or CLO) and digital workflows is a strong advantage

• Fluent in English; international exposure and intercultural collaboration experience preferred.
