PUMA Group is seeking a design-oriented professional to create and execute innovative apparel designs aligned with brand strategies. You will own the full design process from ideation to final approval and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consumer-centered products.

The role requires 3+ years in apparel design for top brands, in-depth knowledge of fabrics, performance, and trends, and strong CAD and presentation skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor/Master degree in Design, Fashion Design or similar education.
• 3+ years of experience designing apparel for footwear/lifestyle/sports brands.
• Strong knowledge of sports performance, fabrics and industry tech.
• Excellent eye for colors, fabrics and trends.
• Proficient CAD skills using Adobe; MS Office (PowerPoint); 3D software is a plus.

YOUR MISSION:

• Demonstrate excellence in creation and execution of innovative designs following the brand, category and product strategies
• Take ownership of the whole design process, from ideation till final production approval
• Contribute to the formulation of the seasonal creative direction and support the Director/Teamhead guiding and supervising the team through its implementation
• Elaborate and present concepts, sketches and final designs in a compelling, clear, transparent and effective way to the design team as well as our product counterparts and external stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a holistic approach to the product as well as a consumer centered strategy, following the brand’s perspective
• Integrate product, functional and technical developments into design tasks in order to improve business processes and enhance customer/consumer engagement
• Challenge the global brand positioning guidelines to ensure consideration of new product and program ideas and appropriate modification when necessary
• Collect market intelligence, providing all accurate and up-to-date information on design trends and developments and utilizing them effectively
• Keep track and support the team to deliver projects in line with PUMA development calendar.

YOUR TALENT:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Design, Fashion Design or similar education
• 3+ years of experience designing Apparel products for one or more leading footwear/lifestyle/sports brands
• good knowledge of sports performance, fabrics and new industry technology
• very good feeling for colors, fabrics and trends
• excellent CAD skills using Adobe and knowledge of MS Office (especially Powerpoint) 3D software knowledge good to have but not a requirement
• very good written and spoken English skills are a must
• excellent presentation skills
