Senior Technical Designer
Frankfurt (Onsite) | Design / Content | Hunt: Showdown
Crytek is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Technical Designer to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany, working on Hunt: Showdown in our state-of-the-art office.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and drive complex gameplay features and systems using visual scripting and proprietary tools.
- Create and maintain asset databases using CRYENGINE.
- Contribute creative design ideas to the project.
- Participate in team playtests for new features.
- Iterate on functionality based on feedback.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure resources are scheduled and delivered.
- Serve as a technical knowledge resource for the development team.
- Suggest improvements for tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with QA to debug systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in game industry technical design.
- Excellent technical skills.
- Strong game design skills.
- Experience with visual scripting.
- Passion for FPS games.
- Experience with AI design.
- Strong documentation abilities.
- Team-oriented, self-driven, eager to learn.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills and transparency.
- Willing to relocate to Frankfurt.
Preferred Skills
- Strong math skills.
- Knowledge of C++ or other programming languages.
- Experience with live service games.
- Experience with character or art pipelines and workflows.
