Akamai is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) for Guardicore Segmentation to act as a trusted technical advisor for strategic enterprise customers. You will guide them in implementing zero-trust segmentation and optimizing the Akamai platform to strengthen security posture.

The role requires hands-on Linux/Windows experience, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to engage large enterprise clients across EMEA in English and German.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (TAM, SE, or similar).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing).
• Experience with Zero Trust, microsegmentation, threat detection concepts.
• Ability to work with large enterprise customers in EMEA and communicate in English and German.

As a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) for Guardicore Segmentation at Akamai Technologies, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to our strategic enterprise customers. You will guide them in implementing and optimizing Zero Trust segmentation strategies, ensuring they maximize the value of our platform while strengthening their security posture.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have relevant experience in a customer-facing technical role (TAM, Solutions Engineer, Security Engineer, or similar)
• Have solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, segmentation)
• Have experience with cybersecurity concepts (Zero Trust, microsegmentation, threat detection)
• Have hands-on experience with Linux/Windows environments
• Have solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Have experience working with large enterprise customers in EMEA and be fluent in English and German
