The role is based in Berlin, Germany offering flexible hybrid working and offering €100k

Experience :

• 5+ years experience in dealing with direct tax in multiple jurisdictions
• An expert in dealing with German direct tax advisory and compliance
• A university degree in taxation, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
• A fluent German speaker
• Proficiency in NetSuite and other ERP systems
• A proactive individual with a hands on attitude

Responsibilities :

• Provide expert tax advice on business projects, restructurings, and accounting queries
• Partner with accounting teams on tax provisions, deferred taxes, disclosures, and reconciliations
• Review contracts for WHT and CIT impacts and draft intercompany agreements
• Be the go-to contact for tax authorities during audits and inquiries
