Based in South West Germany, my international client is offering an unparalleled Senior Systems Expert, with a focus on Battery Storage.

At the core of the sprawling Engineering sector, this technology giant develops world-leading Electronic Solutions for multiple industries. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Senior Systems Expert to utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages modular Battery Storage Systems, ensuring the seamless integration of standardized system components such as inverter units, distribution panels, enclosures, thermal management elements, and safety mechanisms.
• Defines and refines technical requirements for system integration, develops and implements product designs, and ensures compatibility between physical and functional system components.
• Troubleshoots system issues, conducts in-depth technical analyses, and implements effective solutions to optimize performance.
• Develops and refines spare parts strategies, along with maintenance plans for key system components.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for service and quality teams, providing technical expertise and support.
• Defines functional requirements for the integration of subcomponents into the control system.
• Validates components and systems throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Maintains and updates technical and customer-specific documentation in accordance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or similar
• Obtained 7+ years of relevant experience in battery storage systems
• Strong expertise in European regulations and standards for Battery Storage Systems (Grid setting)
• A confident and professional approach when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
• Fluency in both written and spoken German and English is mandatory
