Senior Systems Engineer – Space Hardware
This position is intended for candidates with more than 7 years of professional experience.
The salary range varies depending on experience, between €90,000 and €105,000 gross per year.
Work model: Full-time, primarily on-site (home office days can be arranged individually).
Muxon is a small, globally active recruitment agency and is conducting this search on behalf of our partner, a fast-growing European space technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of deployable antenna systems and advanced space structures. With a strong focus on innovation and strategic independence for Europe, the company plays a key role in cutting-edge satellite missions and collaborates on high-impact institutional and commercial space projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end system engineering support for space antenna systems and deployable reflectors.
- Lead and contribute to system engineering activities across all project phases (from concept to delivery).
- Support design, analysis, and MAIT teams with system-level expertise.
- Manage requirements and configuration processes, ensuring high-quality documentation.
- Coordinate integration, testing, and verification activities of complex subsystems.
- Participate in technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and proposal evaluations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, RF, thermal, and electrical engineering.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in system engineering within the European space or aerospace industry.
- Proven experience across the full system lifecycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, verification & validation).
- Strong expertise in space antenna systems or large deployable structures.
- Hands‑on experience in integration, testing, and verification of complex systems.
- Experience with requirements and configuration management tools (e.g., DOORS, RVTM).
- Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
- English proficiency at C1 level.
