Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 gross/year

Your Role

As a Systems Engineer, you will take ownership of complex space antenna systems across the full engineering lifecycle — from concept and requirements definition through to integration, testing, and delivery.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in ensuring system performance, quality, and successful mission outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering activities for deployable antenna systems across all project phases
• Define, manage, and maintain system requirements and configurations (DOORS, RIVM)
• Support integration, testing, and verification of subsystems into spacecraft
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, RF, thermal, electrical)
• Drive system-level documentation and contribute to project reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR)
• Analyze system performance and implement corrective actions where required
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical alignment

Your Profile

• ~10+ years of experience in systems engineering within the space or aerospace industry
• Strong experience across the full engineering lifecycle (design → integration → testing → delivery)
• Hands-on experience with integration, testing, and verification of complex systems
• Proven expertise in requirements and configuration management (DOORS, RIVM)
• Experience working on spacecraft, antenna systems, or deployable structures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent English (minimum C1)

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with large deployable structures or antenna systems
• Exposure to ESA project reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR)
• German language skills
