The Trusted System Security (TSS) Lab focuses on researching and developing technologies that enhance the integrity and trustworthiness of Huawei's next-generation computing products.

Are you a system security expert with a research mindset and a passion for solving real-world security challenges? Then join us as a Senior System Security Researcher (m/f/d) and help secure the computing infrastructure for AI!

Your Mission:

• Pioneer new system and platform security architectures leveraging hardware Roots of Trust (e.g., TPM, DICE) and memory protection technologies for CPUs, NPUs, and GPUs to secure AI and HPC workloads
• Lead the design and implementation of security prototypes for heterogeneous systems and drive their integration into data center and consumer platforms
• Deliver architecture and integration documentation, secure patents, and present research findings at top-tier conferences
• Contribute to industry analysis, strategic planning, and development of industry standards in system and platform security (e.g., TCG, OCP)

Your Expertise:

• PhD or postdoc in computer science, focusing on system security
• Deep knowledge of computing architectures (ARM, RISC-V, x86) and OS concepts
• Research experience in system security technologies such as Roots of Trust (TPM, DICE), defenses (CFI, memory tagging), ISA security extensions, TEEs (TrustZone, SGX, TDX, SEV, CCA), or kernel-based technologies
• Proficiency in Rust or C/C++ system programming
• Relevant familiarity with GPU/NPU architectures or distributed computing in LLM scenarios
• Excellent communication skills in English
