Job Description

• As an IT System Engineer in the Technical Application Services department, you will support our customers daily with stable, secure, and modern IT solutions.
• You will bring technical expertise, personality, team spirit, and a customer-focused approach.
• Responsibilities include operation, maintenance, and development of IT infrastructures (on-premises & cloud-based) in Linux, Microsoft, databases; analysis and troubleshooting (3rd level support).
• Automate recurring tasks using tools like Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or similar.
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to improve our services continuously.
• Document, monitor, and optimize system performance.

The position can be filled at one of our locations or remotely throughout Germany.

Qualifications

• Completed training or studies in IT or a comparable qualification.
• Solid knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, database systems, operating system management, Active Directory, and basic cloud technologies (Azure, M365).
• Experience with monitoring and ticket systems.
• Independent, structured work style with high customer orientation.
• Strong communication skills, team ability, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Nice to have: certifications (LPIC, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL), experience with IT security, backup strategies, disaster recovery, interest in DevOps and scripting.
