Zusammenfassung

EQS Group is seeking a (Senior) Sustainability Manager to help shape the Sustainability Cockpit, focusing on CSRD, EU Taxonomy and ESG reporting capabilities. You will work with Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success to translate regulatory changes into practical product improvements and guidance for customers navigating an evolving ESG landscape.

Qualifikationen

  • Experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or sustainable finance.
  • Strong CSRD, EU Taxonomy knowledge.
  • Experience with cross-functional product development teams.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into product requirements.
  • Excellent written and spoken German (C2) and English (C1).
  • Experience with ESG or sustainability reporting software.
  • Experience with AI productivity tools and responsible data handling.

Aufgaben

  • Drive development of the EQS Sustainability Cockpit focusing on CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and reporting capabilities.
  • Translate regulatory developments into product priorities and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, CSM, Engineering to deliver customer-centric enhancements.
  • Act as sustainability SME for internal stakeholders in Product, Sales and Customer Success.
  • Participate in Sales and customer meetings to guide on sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Gather and evaluate customer and market feedback to improve the Cockpit.
  • Monitor European sustainability reporting developments and adjust the roadmap.

As a (Senior) Sustainability Manager in our Product Management team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our Sustainability Cockpit. Working at the intersection of product, regulation, and customer needs, you will drive the continued development of solutions supporting organisations in meeting evolving sustainability reporting requirements.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to translate regulatory developments and customer feedback into valuable product capabilities. YOUR IMPACT
  • Drive the further development of the EQS Sustainability Cockpit with a particular focus on CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and sustainability reporting capabilities.
  • Translate regulatory developments and market requirements into clear product priorities and requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success Management (CSM), Engineering, and other cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver customer‑centric product enhancements.
  • Act as a sustainability subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, particularly Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Participate in Sales and customer meetings to answer domain‑specific questions and guide prospects and customers in navigating sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Gather and evaluate customer and market feedback to continuously improve the Sustainability Cockpit.
  • Monitor developments in the European sustainability reporting landscape and assess their impact on the product roadmap.

THIS IS YOU
Must have
  • Professional experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or sustainable finance, ideally within a software or technology environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and the European sustainability reporting landscape, complemented by knowledge of additional reporting frameworks or emerging regulatory developments.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional product development and customer‑facing teams, supported by strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into structured product requirements.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German (C2) and English (C1).
  • Experience with ESG or sustainability reporting software.
  • Practical experience using AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and AI‑enabled workflow automation to make sustainability research, regulatory analysis, and product documentation more efficient, with a responsible approach to data privacy and output quality.
