Key Responsibilities : Strategic Oversight :
- Spearhead strategic initiatives to optimize cost control, inventory management, and overhead spending, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and global standards.
- Operational Excellence : Lead the charge in improving processes and structures, driving efficiency gains, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales companies and the broader organization.
- Leadership & Collaboration : Provide visionary leadership to a diverse team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving collective goals. Serve as a vital link between sales companies, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
- Inventory Management : Take ownership of regional and local inventory management, overseeing purchasing activities, budget preparation, and compliance with inventory targets.
- Transport & Logistics : Manage regional transport and stock control operations, optimizing logistics networks and fostering collaboration among NDC teams to enhance efficiency and service levels.
- Project Management : Dive deep into projects and analytics, driving impactful initiatives tailored to regional needs, and spearheading innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Scope : Team Leadership : Manage a team of 1-10 direct subordinates, with oversight of 10+ direct and indirect reports.
- Stakeholder Management : Engage with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders, including EMEA sales companies, global IT, supply chain management, shipping partners, customers, suppliers, and external service providers.
Requirements : Education :
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, preferably in a related field such as Supply Chain Management.
- Experience : Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, with a track record of implementing lean practices, leveraging SAP systems, and delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Leadership Skills : Strong people management skills with a cultural mindset, capable of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve excellence.
