Job Description

Our Production Department is responsible for the operations behind the online used-car-buying experience for private customers - from deciding the repair scope and evaluating car condition, to repairing vehicles and collecting data points needed for online advertising. We focus on speed, quality, and efficiency while applying a data-driven approach. Support us as a Senior Supply Chain Manager in Production by questioning the status quo and demonstrating your negotiating skills and supply chain knowledge.

As part of the Business Development team at our headquarters in Berlin, you will work closely with all Production management teams in Europe and our Director of Production Europe to enhance our supply chain for Production.

• Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships to maximize value.
• Analyze supplier data, products, lead times, and pricing to identify optimization potential.
• Identify and onboard new top suppliers to build a superior supplier network serving all production centers in Europe.
• Develop and implement a European roadmap for cost savings and supplier network improvements.
• Oversee and improve procurement processes with the Production department, including system implementation, analysis, budgeting, and cross-border benchmarking.
• Manage cross-functional, data-driven projects and collaborate with stakeholders, including top management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in procurement within a start-up, management consultancy, fast-growing company, or the automotive sector, with 5+ years in procurement or supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and contract negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience in building procurement processes.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to draw conclusions from data.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently or in a team.
• Fluent English skills are required; German skills are a plus.
